Tobias is a handsome young boy with the softest fur and the most puppy dog eyes you’ve ever seen – just try to resist his charms! He spent a short time in a foster home where he proved to be an absolutely wonderful and fantastic pup who will make someone very happy. Tobias is the ultimate Velcro dog who loves his humans and wants to be right by your side. He is incredibly affectionate, and if you are looking for a loyal shadow, he is your guy! He is fully house-trained and completely understands outdoor bathroom etiquette. Tobias absolutely loves toys but is surprisingly gentle with them. He listens well, wants to please, and already has a great foundation of manners. He is a high-energy boy who needs an active, energetic owner or family who can provide him with the daily exercise and mental stimulation he craves. Tobias is a great dog who just needs the right environment to thrive. Volunteers at the shelter also love this boy, describing him as a big old handsome teddy bear of a dog, a smushy love bug, and a darling, squishy big baby! He can be a little anxious at first but settles in for pets and loves to snuggle. He took treats pretty gently and shared space politely with his kennelmate. Tobias has a very cute sad face, was easy to leash, and did a nice sit before going outside. He prefers to stay close for petting and will lean into your legs for affection. Tobias has been social and playful when meeting other dogs and shares his kennel with another dog.
