Run, don't walk, to bring Onyx Baby home! This sweet boy is as adorable as he is affectionate, with soulful eyes and perfect floppy ears that will melt your heart. He's approximately 7 months old and weighs 33 lbs, and we believe he's a pittie mix, though we can't guarantee breed or age with rescues. Onyx Baby is a true social butterfly, thriving in a multi-dog household and getting along wonderfully with all his foster siblings, no matter their energy level or play style. He's also been respectful and appropriate around the resident cat, showing no signs of chase or aggression.
Ideal Home
Onyx Baby would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play and explore, but he's equally happy being a couch potato for movie marathons. He would be happiest with another dog in the home to be his companion. We haven't seen Onyx around children yet, but we're happy to do a test if you're interested.
Ongoing Health
Onyx Baby is a healthy boy. His adoption fee includes all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Onyx Baby is a smart cookie and eager to please, already knowing commands like "sit" and taking treats gently. He's crate trained and is doing very well with potty training, though he may have an occasional accident if left alone for extended periods. He's a joy to train and will make any future training a fun bonding experience.

Transporation
Onyx Baby is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
