Duncan

Meet Duncan! Please say his name with a proper Scottish accent when you call him!

Duncan is an approximately 2-3 year old Cocker Spaniel mix. Based on his bright, white teeth and playful energy, we think he’s on the younger side of that age range. Duncan was found as a stray, very matted, so not much is known about his history. He’s a little shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he is incredibly sweet, loving, and friendly. Duncan has been wonderful with all the dogs we've introduced him to. We don't know how he is with cats yet, but we can cat test him for an approved application with cats in the home. As with any new introductions, we always recommend slow and careful introductions to any resident pets. He loves to settle in your lap for belly rubs and enjoys watching the world go by from a sunny window, barking his greetings to passersby.

Ideal Home

Duncan would thrive in a home where he can get to know his people and feel secure. He enjoys looking out windows and greeting passersby.

Ongoing Health

Duncan tested heartworm negative. His adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date preventatives, neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Duncan is not yet house-trained and will need continued guidance and patience to learn this.
