Maddie

Maddie is a sweet 3 1/2 year old, 73 lb Bloodhound/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love to give. She's a smart girl who is already potty and crate trained. Maddie enjoys being around her people and would do best in a home where someone is often present. She loves to play with other dogs and is always up for a good walk. Maddie is friendly with people, though she might be a little shy when you first meet her. Due to her size and zest for life, she would be a wonderful companion for children 7 and up. She's still learning to be aware of her space and might sometimes forget how big she is!

Ideal Home

Maddie would thrive in an active home with a large, energetic dog who can match her playful spirit. She's not a fan of cats and would prefer not to live in an apartment.

Ongoing Health

Maddie is a healthy girl, but she is currently working with a trainer on her leash skills.

Training & Support

An adopter willing to continue her leash training is a must. An experienced dog owner would be ideal for Maddie.

Transporation

Maddie is currently located in the DFW Metroplex. Transportation within an hour of the DFW Metroplex is available for trial adoptions.
