About Murdock BL-JC1001-T

Murdock is a sweet 75-pound boy, born around October 10, 2020. He's a very active and loving dog despite being blind. Murdock was sadly abandoned by his previous owner, but a kind neighbor reached out to our rescue, and he's now in a loving foster home. While he may be blind, Murdock is incredibly adaptable and navigates his surroundings with ease once he's familiar with them. He thoroughly enjoys his walks and is learning helpful cues for them. Murdock is a big cuddle bug who loves attention. He gets along well with other dogs but can play a bit rough, so that's something to consider. He also needs to eat separately from other dogs, but once finished, he's happy to join them in the yard. Murdock experiences crate anxiety and cannot be crated. He also dislikes small spaces and has free roam of his foster home. He is house-trained and can be trusted unsupervised. Murdock is seeking a special home that understands his needs and is committed to working with him.

Ideal Home

Murdock needs a home that understands his blindness and is willing to work with him. He cannot be crated and dislikes small spaces, so a home where he has free roam would be ideal. He loves other dogs but can play rough, so introductions and supervision will be important.

Ongoing Health

Murdock is blind. No other health conditions were mentioned.

Training & Support

Murdock is learning cues for walks and knows "follow." He is house-trained and trusted not to cause trouble when left alone. He has crate anxiety and dislikes small spaces.
