Dudley is a 2-year-old, 31 lb male Border Collie mix who is bursting with energy and athleticism! He's a sweet, loving, and incredibly funny boy who is always ready for an adventure. Dudley is also very smart and would excel with further training, making him a perfect companion for jogging, hiking, or any outdoor activity you can dream up. He's already leash-trained and enjoys car rides, so he's well on his way to being a fantastic travel buddy.
Dudley's journey began when he was abandoned in a park, sadly waiting for a family that never returned. He eventually found his way to our doorstep, sick and in need of help. He was diagnosed with respiratory issues and has received extensive medical care to get him ready for his new life.
Ideal Home
Dudley would thrive in an active household that enjoys spending time outdoors and can provide him with plenty of exercise. A fenced backyard is a must for Dudley. Families should have a genuine commitment to rescuing and a deep understanding of the unique needs of street animals. Previous experience with dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience, are essential for helping Dudley adjust and reach his full potential.
Ongoing Health
Dudley has a history of respiratory issues. He has undergone a comprehensive health protocol, including spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, a 4DX test, negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive. He also received a health certificate and has his vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
While Dudley is leash-trained and enjoys car rides, he is not house-trained. He may need time and patience to decompress and adjust to a new environment. Previous experience with dog behavior and training is highly recommended to help him succeed.

Transportation
Dudley is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transportation to your home address is available for an additional fee.
