SMUDGE

Meet SMUDGE! He's a tiny dog with big feelings, fast feet, and a whole body full of wiggles. SMUDGE can be shy at first, and new situations may startle him. He needs a calm, patient person who understands that little dogs can have very real worries about the world. But once SMUDGE feels safe, the nervous little guy gives way to pure, goofy joy. He loves being picked up for kisses and rubs, and he explores on walks and races around the yard. His friendship with PEACHES is especially hilarious, as they zoom, chase, and wrestle like tiny professionals. SMUDGE is comfortable around most friendly dogs once he has a moment to make sure everything is okay. He shares day-pen life with friends like TINY and PEACHES, and he even takes neighborhood walks with MAYA, which is about as funny a size contrast as you can imagine.

Ideal Home

SMUDGE needs a calm and patient person who understands his sensitivities. A fenced yard would be highly beneficial, especially during his transition.

Ongoing Health

As a puppy, SMUDGE had corrective surgery related to a urinary tract issue. He recovered fully and now lives a normal, happy life with no ongoing medical concerns from that surgery.

Training & Support

House training will take patience. Because SMUDGE is naturally sensitive and easily excited, he can stress pee when emotions get big. A consistent routine, gentle guidance, and understanding people will be important.

Transporation

SMUDGE is currently in Ridgeland, S.C. We do adopt out-of-state via ground-only transport.
