Zeus McGoose looks like he was plucked from the pages of a storybook, with his long, floppy ears, a beautiful golden-red coat, adorable freckles, and expressive forehead wrinkles. He's approximately 2 years old, weighs around 28 lbs, and is likely a Cocker Spaniel mix. Zeus is a sweet, fun, and easygoing companion who enjoys his squeaky toys and lounging in the sun. He's playful without being overly energetic and affectionate without being clingy. He’s known for his love of squeaky toys and balls, and he’s quite smart, already knowing how to sit and being eager to please.
Ideal Home
Zeus would be happiest in a home with a backyard where he can play with his toys and enjoy sunbaths. He has done wonderfully with smaller dogs in his foster home and enjoys having buddies to run around with. He seems content doing his own thing but also enjoys joining in on the fun. While he hasn't been introduced to larger dogs yet, the rescue is happy to arrange introductions.
Ongoing Health
Zeus is a healthy dog. His adoption fee includes all vetting, which covers vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
Training & Support
Zeus is crate trained and doing well with potty training, with accidents being very rare. He is eager to please and loves treats, taking them gently.

Transporation
Zeus is currently fostered in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide via a USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in many states and Canada. A surcharge for transportation may apply. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
