Princess is a sweet and affectionate girl with a mellow demeanor, about 4 years old and weighing around 65 lbs. Despite a less-than-ideal past, possibly involving backyard breeding or being abandoned, she radiates sunshine and is eager to bring joy to her forever family. She's a people and dog-friendly companion who is gentle, smart, and aware, already knowing commands like SIT, STAY, and DOWN. Princess also has a protective instinct and is generally amiable to most things, not being much of a barker and easy to please. She's been through storms and experienced no anxiety, and has no known behavioral issues. Princess walks well on a leash and is well-mannered in the car. While she enjoys food and treats, she's not overly food-driven and shows average prey drive. She is crate-trained and keeps her kennel clean, suggesting she would quickly learn to be house-trained with consistent structure. Princess was found wandering the grounds of an elementary school, leading to concerns due to her breed, but her true nature is that of a loving soul.

Ideal Home

Princess would thrive in a home where she is made to feel special and cherished. A patient adopter willing to gently guide her as she transitions into a new life would be ideal. While she has a sweet demeanor and is assumed to blend well with children, she has not been around them before.
