Cowboy

Cowboy is a resilient and brave survivor, estimated to be around 2 years old. His past is marked by unimaginable cruelty, having been used as a bait dog and then abandoned. Despite the trauma he's endured, Cowboy has shown incredible strength and a will to live. He arrived at the shelter scared and injured, but with dedicated care, he's healing both physically and emotionally. He is cautious around other dogs and may prefer to be the only canine companion in his new home. Cowboy also takes time to warm up to men, understandably so, given his history. This gentle soul is looking for a patient and loving family who can provide him with the safety and security he so deeply deserves.

Cowboy is heartworm positive but has begun treatment and is on the path to recovery. He is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
