Clover

Clover is a sweet, affectionate 3-year-old who loves people, children, visitors, and plenty of snuggles. She is house trained, crate trained, non-destructive, smart, and enjoys toys and fetch.

Ideal Home

Clover would do well in a home without stairs or slippery floors. A small yard and short walks would suit her needs. She can be the only dog if her person is home more often than not, or live with a gentle canine companion. She is good with dogs and cats, though she has a high prey drive.

Ongoing Health

Clover weighs 70 pounds and has an old, healed injury that causes her to limp. Her mobility is not currently affected, but she will need lifelong joint supplements. She can use stairs and steps, though her mobility may change as she ages. The rescue notes that she is scheduled for Lyme disease treatment.

Training & Support

Clover is learning leash walking and basic commands. She is learning to relax in the car and needs help getting into and out of taller vehicles. She can independently use steps and can manage lower vehicles on her own.
