Meet Charlie! Charlie is a speedy 1-2 year old, 20-pound wire-haired terrier mix with a heart of gold. He's a bit of an escape artist, as he once bolted from the shelter and was on the run for nearly 24 hours! Because of his talent for Houdini-esque escapes and his speed, his new family will need to be extra vigilant about his safety outdoors.

Ideal Home

Charlie needs a family who understands his adventurous spirit and is committed to supervising him at all times when he's outside, even in a securely fenced yard. He's a digger, but with supervision, he's happy to relax with his people.

Charlie is up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Charlie is already house-trained and crate-trained, and he walks well on a leash. He's a well-mannered boy who loves people and is great with other dogs. He thrives on attention, including head pats, snuggles, and belly rubs. He's a pretty chill companion, content to hang out nearby while you go about your day. He enjoys being held and riding on laps for extra bonding time.
