Meet Flacko, an 8-month-old male German Shepherd Dog mix who weighs around 40lbs. This handsome boy is a certified good boy who absolutely loves people and other dogs. He’s eager to please and is a quick learner, making him a joy to train. Flacko is looking for his forever person to share his life with!
Flacko enjoys playing with his dog friends and is good at reading their cues and respecting boundaries. He even got an A++ from Doggie Daycare Playgroups! He also enjoys snuggling with smaller puppy friends. Flacko has been great with his foster's 10-year-old nephew and would likely enjoy a human sibling to play with. He's still working on some puppy manners like jumping and leash pulling, so he should be supervised around very young children.
After a fun play session, Flacko loves to cuddle and will happily roll over to show his belly. He's also a huge fan of pool time and can entertain himself with his favorite toys. Flacko is house and crate trained and is ready to flourish with an experienced adopter who can help him navigate the world with confidence.

Flacko would thrive in a home with an experienced adopter who can help him continue to learn and grow. He enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely do well with a human sibling. While he is good with children, he should be supervised around younger ones due to his puppy energy. He also has a lot of enthusiasm for cats and may be too much for most kitties to enjoy.

Transporation
Flacko is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. He can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is found. Transports run every few weeks, and dogs will be placed on the next available transport upon approval.
