Hi, my name is Mesa! I'm an adorable pup with white mitten paws, floppy ears, and a fluffy tail. When I get excited, I love to hop around like a bunny and get the zoomies, running all over the house! I came all the way from New Mexico to find my forever family. My mom is a pitbull mix and my dad is a boxer. I'm doing really well with potty training and even use the bells on the door to let my foster parents know when I need to go out. I'm working on loving my kennel, and my foster parents are making it super fun with kennel games! At night, I sleep soundly in my kennel in their bedroom. I've already mastered "sit" and I'm working hard on "stay," "place," "come," and "down," as well as recall, impulse control, and focus. My biggest motivators are treats and toys! I live with a 4-year-old girl, a 13-year-old boy with special needs, and a 14-year-old girl who loves to snuggle with me. I haven't met any cats yet. I also share my home with three dogs: a 2-year-old couch potato of a pitbull, a 10-year-old pitbull who usually walks away when I get in her face, and a 4-year-old pitbull mix who loves to play with me, even when I get a little crazy! I can be both dominant and submissive; I tend to be dominant when scared and submissive when I'm comfortable. I absolutely love walks with my doggy friends and playing tag!
Ideal Home
I would love a family with a big yard to run and play in! I also enjoy having other fur-siblings, kids, and LOTS of toys!
