Meet Scout, also known as "Scoutie Pie"! This 45 lb bundle of joy has an estimated birthday of April 13, 2025, and is a charming German Shepherd Dog mix. Scout is a little shy when you first meet him, but once he opens up, his love is absolutely unconditional. He adores zooming around and playing with his foster siblings, both human and canine, and also cherishes quiet moments cuddling on the couch. Scout was rescued from a city shelter where he faced euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being a happy and healthy puppy. Now, he's eagerly awaiting his chance to find his forever home!

Transporation
Scout is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available and included in the adoption fee. Please note that pickup locations for transported dogs may vary and can include nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed about tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
