Eliza

Meet Eliza, a sweet and precious Dachshund mix who is about 1 year old and currently weighs around 21 lbs. Eliza and her littermates were found in less-than-ideal circumstances, without proper care or enough to eat. Despite her tough start, Eliza is a hopeful and loving girl who is ready to find a family to shower with unconditional love and care.

Eliza can be a little timid when she first meets new people, but with a little patience and understanding, her shy nature quickly melts away. Once she feels comfortable, she's a cuddly lap dog who loves to give kisses! Her first year was challenging, so she may sometimes act fearful, but she's learning that there are many good people out there who want to help her heal and thrive.

Ideal Home

Eliza would do best in a calm and quiet home where she can get plenty of attention and snuggles from her people. She would do well with older, calmer children and gets along great with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Eliza is up-to-date on all her vet care, is heartworm-negative, spayed, microchipped, and current on flea and tick preventatives.

Training & Support

Given her past, Eliza may need continued patience and understanding as she continues to gain confidence. She is a loving and friendly girl who will thrive with consistent love and reassurance.
