About Sandy Duffy

Sandy is the furry embodiment of a deep, calming breath after a long day. She's a gentle soul with a quiet presence, and while she might not be the loudest dog in the room, her subtle charm and peaceful nature will capture your heart. Sandy was fostered in a loving home where she showed us she thrives in a calmer environment, settling in beautifully when allowed to set her own pace. Once she feels safe, her grounding presence brings a wonderful sense of peace to any home. She's not demanding, just content to be, making your home feel softer and more serene with her around.

Sandy's approach to affection is slow and steady. She prefers not to be rushed and takes her time getting to know new people. She's not reactive, simply needing a little space initially to observe her surroundings. You'll know she's chosen you when she starts sitting a little closer, following you from room to room, or gently nudging your hand. This quiet connection, once formed, is deeply loyal and heartwarming. Sandy is the kind of dog who might not be in your lap on day one, but she'll become your comforting shadow once she trusts you.

She's polite and respectful with other dogs, coexisting nicely without needing to be the center of attention. A calm canine companion could be a nice influence, but it's not a requirement, as she's perfectly content focusing on her person. Sandy is also a friend to felines, being respectfully avoidant with cats and exuding a non-threatening energy that they seem to sense. Walks are a wonderful way to build a relationship with Sandy, as she enjoys getting out and the shared rhythm helps her connect and feel secure.
