Meet Ziva!
Ziva is a delightful 3-year-old Rottweiler who weighs about 80 pounds. She's fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and absolutely ready to find her forever home. Ziva's journey to us is a touching one; her previous owner sadly passed away, and she found herself living outdoors for a period, cared for by kind neighbors. Thankfully, she's now in a loving foster home, safe and sound, and eagerly awaiting her special person.
Ideal Home
Ziva would thrive in a home with an experienced Rottweiler owner who understands her need for time and space to feel comfortable. She's a "slow burn" kind of girl, and the patience you invest will be incredibly rewarding! She would do best in a home without children, as she needs to warm up to new people gradually and doesn't like being petted near her ears or tail initially. While she can be introduced to a resident dog with careful, slow introductions by an experienced owner, she generally prefers to be the only dog in the household. She's cat-friendly and has lived harmoniously with multiple cats, showing only mild curiosity.

Ziva is in good health, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Ziva is fully potty trained and has no history of accidents in the house. She's also comfortable free-roaming when her environment is "dog-proofed." While she sometimes seeks out her crate to relax, she's not accustomed to being crated. Ziva does exhibit resource guarding, so feeding her separately is recommended. She's a bit of a puller on leash and would benefit from continued leash training to walk calmly by your side. She can also be reactive to other dogs, bikers, and joggers on walks, so continued positive reinforcement training in these situations will be beneficial.
