Lessie

Meet Lessie, a gentle and shy girl ready for a second chance at a happy life. She was found tied to a fence at our shelter in Mexico, but despite her past, she's incredibly sweet and loves the company of other dogs. Lessie is blossoming with the help of our trainers and is already wonderful on leash. However, the shelter environment can be overwhelming for her, and she can be nervous at first. She's looking for a patient and experienced adopter who can help her feel safe and confident.

Ideal Home

Lessie would thrive in a quiet, calm, and predictable environment. A large yard, ranch, or an active home with someone who enjoys hiking trails would be perfect for her. She would do best with teens or adults only and would love a home with another friendly dog.

Ongoing Health

Lessie is a healthy girl who has been spayed and is up-to-date on her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Lessie is already potty-trained and leash-trained. With a patient and loving approach, she will continue to gain confidence and show her wonderful personality.

Transportation

Lessie is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We arrange for adopters in the US and Canada to be matched with flight companions. Your new pup will fly from Puerto Vallarta, and you will meet them at the airport. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, dogs may fly into the US and can be met at Peace Arch Park at the border, with volunteers assisting in transport.
