Hazel 2.0

Meet Hazel 2.0! This sweet girl is about 6 months old and looking for a patient and loving home to continue her puppy education. Hazel was rescued from a tough situation, having been starved, abused, and then abandoned. Because of this, she's learning to trust again and can be a little shy at first, sometimes leading with a bark and a growl. But don't worry, she warms up quickly once she realizes you're friendly! She's a smart and eager-to-please pup, especially when treats are involved – she's incredibly food motivated, which will make training a breeze.

Ideal Home

Hazel would thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence and learn about the world. She absolutely loves other dogs and would do best with a confident canine companion who can gently guide her energy. She's not a couch potato and needs an active adopter who will take her on regular adventures like trips to pet stores, dog parks, puppy classes, and hikes. If you're looking for a companion to explore with, Hazel is your girl!

Ongoing Health

Hazel is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and treated for intestinal parasites. She is also current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. As with all puppies, she may need additional parasite treatment once she settles into her new home, which is common.

Training & Support

Hazel is crate trained, though she may protest with some adorable howls before settling down. She is also almost fully housetrained. She needs continued socialization to help her trust new people. Consistent training, especially using her food motivation, will help her become a super star!
