Kit Kat

Kit Kat, born October 12, 2022, is a sweet and intelligent Heeler/Lab mix with a medium-length coat. She was one of eight puppies from a litter where none of the pups resembled their Blue Heeler mother, making their father's lineage a mystery. Despite being overlooked for adoption in the past due to assumptions about her size, Kit Kat is now around 45 lbs and ready to find her forever home. She loves everyone, has mastered leash walking, and thrives with male dogs, though she can get jealous of female dogs when her family is giving attention. Her intelligence, a trait from her herding breed mix, combined with her high food motivation, makes her a quick and eager learner.

Ideal Home

Kit Kat loves to be outdoors, whether it's in the snow or on the grass, and would be thrilled to play fetch with you all day! A fully fenced yard is recommended to satisfy her herding instincts and prevent her from chasing after neighborhood cats or squirrels. She is past the destructive chewing phase and doesn't need to be crated. Given her herding breed background, children in the home should be over the age of 6.

Kit Kat is vaccinated, spayed, 4dx tested negative, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Kit Kat is very food motivated, which makes training a breeze! She enjoys playing fetch and is happy to entertain herself with toys and chew bones.
