Kit Kat

Barks and Meows Rescue would like to re-introduce you to Kit Kat, a beautiful heeler/Lab mix born October 12, 2022. She was one of eight puppies in the Chocolate Bar litter and has medium-length fur.

Kit Kat weighs about 45 pounds and loves everyone. She is sweet, intelligent, playful, and highly food motivated. She enjoys being outdoors in snow or grass, playing fetch, cuddling on the couch, and sleeping on her dog bed at night. She is past the destructive stage and enjoys toys and chew bones.

Ideal Home

Kit Kat does best with male dogs and may become jealous when female dogs receive attention. She is wonderful with children. Because she has herding instincts and prey drive, a fully fenced yard is best to help prevent her from chasing neighborhood cats or squirrels.

Ongoing Health

Kit Kat is vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and 4DX tested negative.

Training & Support

She learned quickly to walk on a lead, is food motivated, and has visited a pet store while remaining friendly with everyone. She does not require crating.
