Delta Dawn

Meet Delta Dawn! This beautiful Staffy X Cattle Dog mix, weighing 40lbs, was born around May 6, 2022. Delta Dawn has a story of resilience and a heart full of love to share. She came into our care when she was pregnant and found herself on the euthanasia list at the county shelter. Thankfully, we were able to step in and provide her with a safe foster home where she welcomed her puppies. Sadly, all 11 of her puppies passed away from fading puppy syndrome, a heartbreaking loss for everyone. Despite her past hardships, Delta Dawn is incredibly sweet with the softest fur, making her irresistible to pet. Cuddles are her favorite pastime, and she even enjoys trips to Tractor Supply, especially if it involves a bath! She delights in exploring the aisles, sniffing all the interesting scents.

Delta Dawn is looking for a person who will shower her with belly rubs and show her the loving and cherished life she truly deserves.

Ongoing Health

Delta Dawn is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

We are currently working on leash training with Delta Dawn. While her enthusiasm for exploring the world can sometimes outpace her foster mom, she is a very trainable dog who loves to please her humans. She's recently discovered a love for playing fetch and is learning to bring the ball back. She is also kennel and potty trained.
