Meet Cooper!

Cooper is the definition of a sweet, goofy boy with a heart that seems way too big for his body. He is a 1-year-old stunning Labrador Retriever mix with a shiny black coat. From the moment you meet him, his happy energy is impossible to miss. Cooper believes that every day is a new adventure, and he approaches life with the kind of excitement that reminds everyone around him to enjoy the little things.

Part cuddle bug, part class clown, Cooper has perfected the art of making people smile. He has a knack for doing the silliest things at just the right moment—whether it’s proudly parading around the house with a toy that’s almost as big as he is, dramatically flopping onto his back for belly rubs, or breaking into his signature happy dance whenever someone walks through the door.

Despite his goofy personality, Cooper is also incredibly gentle and loving. He’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you after a long day, resting his head on your lap like he knows exactly when you need a little extra comfort. He gives the best snuggles and the kind of quiet companionship that makes a house truly feel like home.

Cooper would do great in any home and loves kids, cats, and other dogs.

Cooper is neutered, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Cooper is housebroken and knows basic commands. He is working on perfecting his leash skills. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!

Transportation

Cooper is located in Berkeley Heights, NJ. We have a sister location in Aiken, SC. All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own.
