Ranger

Howdy, I'm Ranger! I'm an adult male Catahoula Leopard Dog who is medium-sized with short brown fur. I was abandoned and very scared, but a kind family started feeding me, and they brought me to Big Canoe Animal Rescue. I'm learning to trust and overcome being anxious and timid, but once I know you, I give lots of kisses and will be your best buddy! I enjoy having dog friends, playing in the dog park, lounging in my kiddie pool, and I walk well on a leash. It might take me a little time to settle into a new home because I was on my own for a while and need to learn about living indoors. A low-key companion dog could really help me adjust!

Ideal Home

I need a home where I can continue to learn to trust and feel secure. A low-key companion dog would be a great addition to help me adjust. I'm looking for an indoor family pet, and no electric fences, please.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

I am still learning about living in a home and may need some patience as I adjust. I am not house-trained yet.
