Meet Ashton! This handsome 4-year-old, 88-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever is a bundle of joy and energy. Ashton was a beloved family pet since puppyhood, but sadly, his family had to move and couldn't take him with them. Adjusting to shelter life has been a big change, but Ashton is tackling it with his signature happy-go-lucky attitude. He absolutely adores a good game of fetch, eagerly retrieving the ball and dropping it at your feet for another go! Ashton is a strong boy who loves to be active and shower his favorite people with affection. He's a large lad with an even bigger personality and has been doing wonderfully with the other dogs at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is currently heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment at the shelter. Moving forward, he will need a family dedicated to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to stay happy and healthy.

Training & Support

Ashton is a big, strong boy who is still learning his own strength, but he is incredibly sweet. With consistent love and guidance, he'll continue to thrive.
