Meet Sienna – Sweet, Silly, and Simply Adorable 💕
Sienna is a 9-year-old Staffordshire Terrier with a heart of gold and a tail that never stops wagging. Weighing about 50 pounds, she’s the perfect mix of affectionate, goofy, and resilient. Sienna's journey hasn’t been easy. For over 11 days, she wandered the streets of Houston, returning to the same porch again and again, hoping someone would take her in. Though people shared her story on social media, she remained on the streets—until one kind person opened both their home and their heart to Sienna and has helped nurture both her body and her soul ever since. When first coming off the streets, Sienna was weak, suffering from severe diarrhea, and clearly in distress. A vet visit revealed a serious intestinal worm infection that could have been fatal without treatment. With love, support, and proper care, she has pulled through. Our amazing team of volunteers and community partners have given Sienna everything she needed to heal: food, a safe place to rest, and, most importantly, compassion. Today, Sienna is thriving. Her energy is up, her coat is shiny, and she’s finally learning what it means to be safe and loved. She’s currently eating NutriSource Beef & Rice Recipe to support her ongoing health. Sienna is heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, walks wonderfully on a leash, and loves her daily strolls. She’s calm in the car and rides well, always content just being near her people. She’s full of sweet quirks—like the way she’ll sit upright on her butt just to get your attention—and she absolutely adores belly rubs and snuggling close.
Ideal Home
Sienna doesn’t react to dogs or cats from a distance. That said, she can be nervous around other dogs, especially females, so slow and thoughtful introductions are important if there are other pets in the home.
Ongoing Health
Sienna was treated for a serious intestinal worm infection. She is currently heartworm negative and on monthly prevention. She is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Sienna is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks wonderfully on a leash. She is calm in the car and rides well.

Transporation
Sienna is currently fostered in Houston, Texas. Out-of-state adoptions are welcome, and transport is available for approved adopters for an additional fee.
