Taffy

Taffy is a delightful French Bulldog with a spunky personality that has blossomed since her arrival. Initially a bit reserved, she's now showing her true colors as an adventurous, active, and athletic girl who loves to play! Despite her playful antics, Taffy is also a naturally mellow companion who enjoys her toy vegetables, spending time with her humans, and entertaining herself. She's incredibly sweet, affectionate, and welcoming to everyone she meets, with her fosters describing her as one of the easiest fosters they've ever had. Taffy is also perfectly potty-trained and is a total cuddle bug, especially with her favorite human, her foster dad. She truly is the queen of her castle!

Ideal Home

Taffy would thrive in a home where she can be the sole focus of all the love and attention. She would do best in a home with children 10 and older, and where she can be the only pup to soak up all the spoiling she deserves.

Ongoing Health

Taffy is currently heartworm-positive and will require treatment. The rescue will cover the cost and provide guidance for her care, and it's important that she stays close to their vets for this treatment. French Bulldogs, in general, require dedicated owners who are prepared for potential health issues such as IVDD, and regular maintenance like cleaning facial folds and administering eye drops.

Training & Support

Taffy is perfectly potty-trained. While she's shown to be a quick learner, French Bulldogs require patience with training, and daily mental and physical engagement. They are opinionated and energetic dogs, not meant to be "couch ornaments." Owners must be committed to understanding the breed's needs and providing consistent care.
