PIPER

Piper is a 6-year-old, 60-pound German Shepherd who is past the puppy stage and ready for the best years of her life. She's the perfect blend of playful, loyal, and loving, happy to chase a ball and then snuggle up close to her favorite people. Piper was sadly abandoned by her previous family, but she hasn't lost hope and greets each day believing her forever family is out there. She is fully vaccinated, house-trained, walks well on a leash, and enjoys the company of children. While she can be a bit shy and put on a tough front when meeting new people, she's a gentle soul who longs to feel safe and loved again. Her favorite things include playing fetch, carrying her beloved gingerbread toy, and spending time with her humans. All she asks for is a comfy bed, some toys, and a family that will cherish her forever.

Piper would do best as an only dog or with a canine companion her size or larger.
