Chippa is a sweet, approximately 6-7 year old girl with a resilient spirit! She arrived at Kay Animal Hospital after being hit by a car, which resulted in a broken leg. Thankfully, she received surgery to fix her leg, was spayed, and successfully completed heartworm treatment. Now, she's all healed and ready to find her forever family. Chippa is a low-energy, submissive lady who adores people and children. She enjoys walks, is great on and off leash, and would love a fenced yard to explore. She's not a jumper and is not food aggressive. When she's not playing with her favorite squeaky toys, she's a true snuggle bug who loves to relax on big, fluffy beds.

Ideal Home

Chippa would be happiest in a home with minimal stairs, though she can manage them if needed. She absolutely adores children, so a family with kids would be the perfect fit for this loving girl. She gets along well with other dogs, but no cats, please.

Ongoing Health

Chippa is heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She does require daily heart medication, which is not expensive and is administered twice a day.

Training & Support

Chippa is a fantastic companion who walks well on and off leash and is not a jumper. She's already house-trained and eager to please.
