Nola

Meet Nola, a beautiful and resilient Bluetick Coonhound who's overcome so much! She wandered the beaches of Bucerias for weeks, surviving on the kindness of strangers, before being found by our dedicated volunteers. She arrived underweight and battling Ehrlichia and TVT, a treatable cancer. After a course of antibiotics, vaccines, and chemotherapy, this brave girl is now healthy, healed, and ready to find her loving forever family. Nola is a sweet, grateful, and resilient pup who truly deserves a second chance.

Ideal Home

Nola loves her walks and is great on the leash. As a Bluetick Coonhound, she has a typical "Coonhound voice" and will bay and howl, so a home that understands and can accommodate this would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Nola has been fully vetted and treated for Ehrlichia and TVT. She is now in excellent health.

Training & Support

Nola is described as sweet and resilient, and she's ready for her forever home.

Transporation

Nola is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters can be matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, Nola may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
