Charlotte

Charlotte is an amazing dog with a traumatic past, but she doesn't let it limit her quality of life! She is blind due to injuries sustained before her rescue, and was found as a stray with multiple wounds and an old, improperly healed leg fracture. After evaluation by a veterinary specialist, no surgical correction was recommended for her leg. She walks and runs well despite a slight limp and a mild outward turn of one rear foot. Once familiar with her environment, Charlotte navigates extremely well despite her blindness. She occasionally bumps into things when excited, but otherwise functions very normally. She is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented, enjoying cuddling and sleeping close to her people.

Ideal Home

Charlotte is excellent with children and gets along well with other dogs. However, she can be reactive around food and should be fed separately from other pets.

Training & Support

Charlotte is fully house trained and uses a doggy door. She navigates her environment very well once familiar with it. She shares toys appropriately.
