Meet Ember! This handsome, gentle 2-year-old Doberman has been with us for almost a year, and we've watched him blossom into a truly special boy. Ember was found wandering the streets, and while his beginnings were uncertain, he's proven to be incredibly resilient and loving. He can be a little timid at first, especially around new people or in unfamiliar settings, but give him a moment to feel safe, and his true, affectionate, and playful personality shines through. Ember loves to be by your side, following you from room to room, and he truly soaks up all the attention. He's done wonderfully with the resident pets in his foster home, where he feels secure, though he can get a bit reactive when he sees unfamiliar dogs. With consistent structure, patience, and positive reinforcement, Ember continues to gain confidence and learn that the world is a safe and happy place. He's also had positive experiences with children ages 8 and 11, loving to play with them and join in on outdoor adventures. Ember is currently thriving in a quiet, country setting, and he'd do best with a family who will continue to guide him at his own pace. With understanding and love, Ember will offer his future family unwavering loyalty and a deep, unbreakable bond. He's been waiting for his person, and he's more than ready to find the forever home he deserves.
