Xander - missing down south 5/11

Meet Xander, a charming 2-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighs about 13 pounds. This sweet boy was surrendered by a breeder in Tennessee and is now eager to find his forever home! Xander can be a bit shy when you first meet him, but a few tasty treats will quickly win him over. He's been working hard with his foster family to gain confidence and has even started cuddling on laps – a huge step for this nervous pup! While he's still a little hesitant about being picked up, he'll happily come to you when you're seated, and he absolutely loves to snuggle.

Ideal Home

Xander would thrive in a home that offers plenty of love and patience as he continues to blossom. He enjoys wrestling with his foster siblings and would do well with a canine companion to show him the ropes. Due to his shy nature, a home without young children or cats would be best, allowing him to gain confidence at his own pace.

Ongoing Health

Xander is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Xander is doing great with house-training and crate training. He can be a little nervous about leashes initially but quickly settles into a nice walk. All dogs adopted through Wags benefit from professional training to help them become the best family members they can be.
