About BROOKE

Meet Brooke — Ready for a Life Full of Love, Comfort, and Confidence
After having lived on a tether for likely her entire life, Brooke is ready for a future where the only thing she’s attached to is a loving family — and maybe a soft, comfy couch to call her own. Since arriving at our shelter, this adorable girl met a similar-sized neutered male. She was nervous at first, but she warmed up quickly. Brooke politely sniffed her new friend, allowed him to sniff her, and showed us her sweet, submissive personality. She preferred when her new buddy approached slowly, and when he didn’t, she darted in the other direction. We could see her gently correcting her dog friends if they didn't take the hint and came on too strong. With consistent care, patience, and encouragement, Brooke will blossom into the confident, happy dog we know is tucked inside her quiet soul. She already wants to trust — she just needs a family willing to help her feel safe enough to do it.
If you can offer this sweet girl the forever family she deserves, please come meet her in person. She will be available when we open for adoptions tomorrow at 12pm. We are a first come, first served, in-person adoption center. All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their pet’s long-term health.
Meet and greets with other dogs and children are recommended to ensure a good fit. We do not have information on how she does with cats and cannot test for that. Please bring a collar and leash, or you may purchase a combo from us for $15 to take your new family member home safely.
Don’t Forget the 3-3-3 Rule: • 3 Days to decompress • 3 Weeks to learn routines • 3 Months to build trust
Adoption Fee: $80 Brooke / A317096 1 year 6 months old • Spayed female • 33.30 pounds
