Thomas The Lover Boy

Thomas is a 3-year-old Pittie and retriever mix who's an absolute sweetheart! He's a total goofball, incredibly people-focused, and has a boundless capacity for love. Thomas is also great with other dogs, loves to play fetch, and is wonderful with kids. He even makes a great office companion, happy to just hang out by your side. He’s around 68 pounds and is the best of both worlds: the fun-loving retriever spirit and the affectionate, lap-dog nature of a pittie.

Ideal Home

Thomas would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can safely zoom around and play. He's looking for a semi-active family who enjoys outdoor adventures like hiking and camping, but also loves a good snuggle session. He's not a fan of cats, so a feline-free home is a must.

Ongoing Health

Thomas is generally healthy and has received all necessary vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention, and is microchipped.

Training & Support

Thomas is a super smart and treat-motivated boy who already knows commands like sit, down, "leave it," and fetch. He's gentle when taking treats, making training a breeze. He's fully crate trained but would happily sleep in your bed! He also walks beautifully on a leash thanks to gentle lead training.

Transporation

Thomas is currently in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, and VT. Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT. Transport is provided with 24/7 care on USDA licensed vehicles.
