Whoopi - A Sweet Girl Hoping for a Miracle

Whoopi is an unforgettable girl with a heart full of love! She was found abandoned and alone, but thanks to the dedication of a rescue, she's recovering from heartworm and ready for the life she deserves. Whoopi is a total lovebug who melts for belly rubs and cuddles, especially in bed! While she has bursts of playful energy, she's mostly a calm and easygoing companion, happiest napping by your side. Her adorable smile and squishy cheeks are sure to steal your heart.

Whoopi is a smart cookie, already potty trained and knows "sit." She learns routines quickly and heads straight for her treat spot after walks. She's respectful in the home, only chews her toys, and enjoys car rides. She's also deeply loyal and forms incredible bonds with her family.

Ideal Home

Whoopi would do best in a home without cats. We are still learning how she feels about other dogs, and due to one past incident, we're introducing her slowly and working on her social skills. A fenced yard would be ideal as she continues to build her confidence.

Ongoing Health

Whoopi has overcome heartworm and is well on her way to a full recovery.

Training & Support

Whoopi is making great progress with leash training using a prong collar. She's generally respectful in the home and only chews appropriate items.

Whoopi is currently in Puerto Rico and will be transported to the mainland for a foster or forever home.
