Maximus is a 54.7lb Husky with an estimated birthday of 04/08/2021. He's the sweetest, most lovable soul who was found wandering a shopping center parking lot, happily saying hello to every person he passed. This tells you everything about him – he's a total people pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Max is a fluffy shadow who follows you from room to room before happily plopping down next to you. For a husky, he has a wonderfully calm and easygoing vibe, just as happy chilling at home as he is heading out for a walk or adventure.
Ideal Home
Maximus is friendly with everyone he meets, does great with kids, and gets along well with most other dogs. He thrives on companionship and being part of your everyday life. Because he loves his people so much, Max is still learning that being alone isn’t so scary, so he’d do best in a home where someone is around more often or willing to help him build that confidence over time. A friendly dog sibling would be a huge bonus for him, too!

Training & Support
Maximus is kennel and potty trained and walks nicely on leash, unless a squirrel or cat tries to ruff up his focus. He already knows commands like sit, paw, and stay.

Transporation
Maximus is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and is coordinated with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. You will be able to track the van using the app Life360 and receive updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
