Frosty

Frosty is a sweet, affectionate 1-year-old mixed-breed dog weighing about 36 pounds. Fully grown and on the smaller side, he is playful, trusting, loving, and eager to be part of a family. After being rescued in poor condition in South Texas, Frosty has recovered beautifully, gained weight, and grown back his gorgeous coat.

Ideal Home

Frosty gets along wonderfully with dogs, children, and cats. He is very submissive with other dogs and would do best with kind, gentle companions. He could thrive as the only dog or share a home with a respectful canine friend. A backyard and children to play with would be wonderful, though he is adaptable and could thrive in many types of homes.

He loves soft beds, cozy places, toys, adventures, and relaxing with his people. His favorite food is chicken nuggets.

Ongoing Health

Frosty is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on age-appropriate vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and dewormer. He will receive a clean bill of health from a veterinarian before adoption.

Training & Support

Frosty is crate trained, house trained, and great on a leash.

Transportation

Transport from Texas is included in the $595 adoption fee and travels every 2–3 weeks to or around listed stops in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Montana.
