Olive

Meet Olive: 2 years old and about 50 pounds of pure sweetness, though she'll need a little time to show it! Olive's journey began with hardship; she and her sister were abandoned and fearful. However, her time in foster care has shown her that humans can be kind, offer treats, and provide unconditional love. She's a calm and gentle soul who, once comfortable, enjoys playtime with other dogs and her favorite toys. Olive is incredibly treat-motivated, making her a joy to train and spoil! She's also a champion couch potato, perfect for cozy movie nights and relaxing Sundays. She walks nicely on a leash, is great with children, and is completely house-trained!

Ideal Home

Olive would thrive in a home that offers patience and understanding as she continues to build trust. She needs a secure, fenced yard for her safety and enjoyment. A calm and quiet environment is essential, as she does best without a lot of chaos.

Ongoing Health

Olive is up-to-date on her vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and has tested negative for heartworm. She is also on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She has been spayed.

Training & Support

Olive is house-trained and walks well on a leash. Her main "training" need is continued patience and positive reinforcement as she learns to trust. Her foster family has learned that the best way to her heart is through treats and gentle reassurance.
