Lenny's journey began with a need for a fresh start, but his luck turned when he entered foster care. Now, this happy and thriving pup is eagerly awaiting his forever family. At just one year old, Lenny embodies the best of his breed: curious, energetic, incredibly intelligent, and always up for an adventure. He's looking for an active home that understands and embraces the needs of a smart breed like his, and is excited to help him grow into the amazing companion he's destined to be.
Lenny thrives when he has a job to do, or at least the feeling of one! He loves hiking, playing fetch, learning new tricks, exploring, and simply staying close to his favorite humans. He forms quick bonds and is ready to be your loyal sidekick on all of life's adventures. While he's past the puppy nipping stage, he still has plenty of playful energy. He's eager to learn, highly food-motivated, and bright, making training a fun and rewarding experience with consistent, positive reinforcement.
Ideal Home
Lenny would love an active family that enjoys staying outdoors and keeping both his mind and body engaged. He would be happy to have another playful dog in his home, but it's not a requirement as long as he receives plenty of exercise, enrichment, and socialization. We do not know how he is with cats.
