Hayes is a smart, friendly, and incredibly lovable pup who's ready to bring sunshine into your life! He's a true teddy bear with a goofy side that he just can't wait to share. When Hayes first arrived, he was understandably confused and scared, army crawling from place to place and shivering. But now, he's done a complete 180! You'd never guess he was once such a timid little guy. Hayes adores people and is happy to be around other dogs, as long as they've been neutered. He's a ray of sunshine, eagerly searching for his forever home.

Ideal Home

Hayes would thrive in a home that appreciates his journey and can continue to provide him with love and reassurance. He is dog selective and does not do well with intact male dogs. He is also not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Hayes is currently heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment.

Training & Support

Hayes is generally a happy and well-adjusted pup now, but continuing to build his confidence with positive reinforcement will be key to his ongoing success.
