Bombon

Bombon is a sweet 9-month-old German Shepherd mix, weighing around 33 lbs and standing 16 inches tall. She was found as a tiny pup in Saltillo, Mexico, near her deceased brother. After being rescued, she received treatment for anemia and has blossomed into a playful, affectionate, and curious dog. While initially shy with strangers, Bombon quickly warms up and showers her loved ones with kisses. She's brave, intelligent, and an excellent learner, already leash-trained and crate-trained. Bombon enjoys cuddles, running, hiking, and playing with both kids and other dogs.

Ideal Home

Bombon would thrive in an active home with a fenced backyard. Her ideal family enjoys hiking and exercise and has experience with dog behavior and training. A family with an open heart for rescued animals, understanding their need for protection and education, and possessing high tolerance and patience for rescued pups is essential. Bombon is not yet house-trained.

Ongoing Health

Bombon is spayed/neutered and up-to-date on her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. She is also on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate and a vaccination booklet.

Training & Support

Bombon is not yet house-trained. Her foster family is unable to provide comprehensive house-training due to the number of animals they care for. She will need a patient adopter willing to continue her training.

Transportation

Bombon is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. She is scheduled to travel to the East Coast in January/February 2023. Transport to the adopter's home address is available for an additional fee of $400.00, which will be paid by the adopter prior to departure.
