Ideal Home
Stormy Belle would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, ideally in a suburban setting rather than a bustling city. While she's generally good-natured with younger children, she would prefer the company of older kids (around 14 and up) who can better understand and respect her need for calm and space.
Ongoing Health
Stormy Belle has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworm.
Training & Support
Stormy Belle is a smart and eager learner who is easy to train. She already knows how to sit and lay down, understands the "touch" command, and has a good recall. She walks well on a leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and has excellent house manners. She can be a little shy when meeting new people or in new environments, but with positive reinforcement like treats and a tennis ball, she quickly warms up and reveals her goofy, silly side. She's also dog-friendly and gentle with dogs of all sizes, though she seems most comfortable around smaller dogs. She's not overly playful with other dogs and enjoys simply roaming and enjoying company. She doesn't require another dog for companionship or to meet her energy needs but would love the extra attention.

Stormy Belle is currently located in Texas. Wags offers nationwide transport with a USDA-certified system, ensuring safe and comfortable travel for pets. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick-up points in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will be able to track your pet's journey in real-time and receive photo updates.
