Romeo

Romeo is a 4-year-old, 55 lb German Shepherd/Labrador mix with short, black and light brown fur. He is a playful, cheerful, intelligent, and affectionate dog who loves human contact and cuddles. Romeo was rescued at almost 6 months old along with his sister, Julieta, after being abandoned. They were found scared and asking for help. After being rescued, they were hospitalized for days due to malnutrition and dehydration. Romeo has lived his entire life with a dedicated rescuer who cares for many other dogs. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Romeo is now looking for a stable, loving, and responsible home where he can experience the warmth of a family he's never truly known.

Romeo is sociable with people and dogs and enjoys human contact. He likes to run and is playful and affectionate. He barks at strangers.

Romeo is spayed and vaccinated and has no known special needs.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You will need to fill out an adoption application form.
• Photos of the home where the pet will live will be required.
• A video conference will be scheduled to meet you, see your home, and introduce the pet.
• An adoption contract will be signed if the adoption is viable.
• An adoption fee will be finalized prior to transport. This fee includes spay/neuter, complete vaccination, deworming, one month of tick and flea treatment, a health certificate, and an import certificate.
• A transport fee, paid by the adopter, will be required, ranging from $300-$350 USD depending on the delivery city/state.

Romeo is currently located in Mexico. Transport is available to various cities and states, with the transport fee to be paid by the adopter.
