Greta is a happy-go-lucky girl who absolutely adores people! She's silly, funny, sweet, and such a good girl, ready to bring joy to her new family. Greta is estimated to be 2 years old, weighs less than 45 pounds, and is fully vetted.

Ideal Home

Greta would do well with a playful, non-dominant dog friend her size or larger. She does resource guard food and toys, but only from other dogs, not people. To ensure her comfort and safety, it's recommended she is fed and given toys separately from other dogs, and not while she's out playing with them.

Greta is currently in training and working on commands such as 'sit', 'down', 'place', 'stay', 'touch', 'leave it', and loose-leash walking.

Transporation

Greta is fostered in Texas but is available for adoption and transport out of state. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. Out-of-state adoption fees are $350 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee includes all age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months and older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
