BlackJack

BlackJack is a handsome boy with a sweet personality. He's about 2 years old and has a beautiful black coat that shines in the sun. BlackJack loves to play and would do well in an active home. He also enjoys quiet time and cuddles with his favorite people.

Ideal Home

An active family or individual who can provide BlackJack with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He would likely do well in a home with or without other dogs, but we would want to do a meet and greet first.

Ongoing Health

BlackJack is up to date on all vaccinations, is neutered, and has been dewormed and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and will receive monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative (age appropriate) before adoption.

Training & Support

BlackJack is still learning some of his basic manners and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement training.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• You can choose up to three pets to meet.
• We will review your vet reference and do a virtual home visit.
• You will be contacted within 24-48 hours on weekdays.
• If you live in a rental property, we will need a copy of your lease stating that pets are allowed.
• If you have had a pet within the last two years, please provide the vet information.
• If you have never owned a pet or it has been over two years, please provide a personal reference.

Transporation

BlackJack is located at our rescue center in Brundidge, AL. We are not open to the public without an appointment. We can transport to approved adopters within a reasonable distance.
