Boone

Boone is a handsome, smart, and friendly one-year-old Labradoodle with a scruffy, wirehaired coat. He was sadly surrendered by his breeder because his coat wasn't the desired curly texture. Despite this, Boone is a wonderful dog who listens well and is eager to please, making him a breeze to train for any new tricks or commands. He's already crate-trained and weighs around 47 pounds. Boone was transferred from a groomer who thankfully intervened to save him. He's playful and enjoys the company of other dogs, and we believe he would also do well with feline friends. Boone joined our rescue in August 2025 and has since blossomed while waiting for his neuter surgery and vetting. Now that he's healed, neutered, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives, Boone is ready to find his loving forever home!

Ideal Home

Boone would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and grow. He's already proven to be good with other dogs and we suspect he'd be great with cats too.

Ongoing Health

Boone is heartworm negative and is up-to-date on his monthly heartworm and flea preventatives. He has also been neutered and healed from his surgery.

Training & Support

Boone is crate-trained and is known to listen well. He is a smart dog who will be easily trained to do whatever his adopter wishes.
