Meet Bella, a sweet 5-year-old Dachshund looking for a loving new home after the heartbreaking loss of her owner. Bella has spent her whole life with her family, and through no fault of her own, she now needs a safe place to land. She is a brown female Dachshund who has lived with other dogs and has done well with them. She has also been around children and has had no issues with kids. Bella is described as a non-destructive dog who enjoys being part of the family. This sweet girl deserves stability and love again after losing her owner.

Ideal Home

Bella would do best with a secure yard, as she has been known to try to slip out of fencing.

Ongoing Health

Bella's current vaccination status is unknown, and she is not currently on heartworm prevention. Her adopter will want to get her established with a vet.

Training & Support

Bella has not had formal obedience training and will need a little patience and guidance as she adjusts to a new home. She is not fully housebroken yet but could improve with consistency and routine. She has shown she will protect her yard if unfamiliar dogs come in, but she has never bitten anyone.
