Russell

Russell and Demi are a bonded pair of Belgian Malinois mixes who are just over a year old. They had a very rough start to life, with their mother not surviving and their owner neglecting their needs. Thankfully, a persistent rescuer intervened and brought them to safety, where they received the TLC, medicine, and time they needed to recover. Now, Russell and Demi are full of life and love, though they may not slow down for photos, they will certainly pause for treats, dinner, and playtime! They enjoy playing with dogs of all sizes and have been exposed to cats, but their high energy levels mean they might be a bit much for feline friends. They are people-oriented and are mostly leash-trained, crate-trained, and house-trained, though they can sometimes get caught up in play and forget to signal when they need to go outside.

Ideal Home

Russell and Demi would thrive in an active home with older children. They are eager to please and want to become a cherished part of your family. They are not a bonded pair and would be happy with or without another dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Russell and Demi have fully recovered from their past health issues and are in good health.

Training & Support

Russell and Demi are mostly house-trained but may occasionally forget to signal when they need to go out due to their excitement for play. Consistent reminders and positive reinforcement will help them master this. They are also sort of leash-trained.
