Sierra

Sierra is a sweet girl with a gorgeous brindle coat and adorable spotted paws! She was born in 10/2022 and currently weighs 35#. Sierra was adopted from us as a puppy but has been recently returned due to her family not being able to provide the life she deserves. Sierra loves to go for walks and play fetch. She has been great with small dogs and did well while being boarded with other dogs. She also did great with dog-experienced cats! Sierra enjoys cuddling on the couch and sleeps peacefully in her crate through the night. She crates easily during the day when left alone.

Ideal Home

Sierra needs a fully fenced backyard where she can safely run and play. She should not live with young children due to her herding instincts.

Training & Support

Sierra has shown some fear of strangers coming into the home, barking and trying to run away. With patience and treats, she can learn that strangers are okay. She needs a patient owner who can guide her through new experiences and situations that may be overwhelming or scary for her. She appears to be potty trained and has not had any accidents. While not super food-motivated, she will sometimes take high-value treats for training.
